Raise funds for young Australians by supporting Future2 Community Challenge this May

The Future2 Foundation (Future2), the philanthropic arm of the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA), is delighted to present the 2021 Future2 Community Challenge, designed to get the FPA community moving to raise funds for young Australians facing social, physical or financial hardship.

From your daily commute, walking the dog or training for a marathon, the Future2 Community Challenge is all about participation with a simple premise: making a lasting difference in the lives of young disadvantaged Australians.

Since its foundation in 2007, Future2 has provided over $1.3 million in grants to grassroots organisations around Australia.

As part of the Future2 Community Challenge, the financial planning community is encouraged to take on the challenge of walking, hiking or running as far as they can in their local area from 29 May – 6 June 2021 with funds going towards the Future2 Make the Difference! Grant program.

The challenge is open to FPA members and all financial planning professionals, as well as family, friends and clients across Australia. Participants can sign up as an individual or in a team.

Future2 Chair, Julie Berry CFP® GAICD said: “Our 2021 Future2 Community Challenge offers a great opportunity for FPA members and their teams to get involved and support Future2 no matter where they live in Australia whilst improving their own health and fitness.

“This is a fantastic way for the FPA and financial planning community to come together to make a real difference to our local communities and to help young people across Australia lead productive, secure and happy lives.”

Future2 is delighted to announce that for the fourth year running, MLC Wealth is the Gold Partner for the Future2 Foundation.

Sign up to take part in the Future2 Community  Challenge with a $75 tax-deductible donation – with further fundraising optional but highly appreciated!
